Home Sweet Home Remodeling is responsible for creating hundreds of luxury remodels in Summit, Medina, and surrounding counties. Today, we want to reveal the stunning designs that became a reality. We are breaking down for you what happens during the second stage of the remodeling project.
After we’ve had our free planning meeting with you, understand your vision, preferences goals, and requirements, we are ready to commit to each other. It is a true partnership we don’t take lightly.
In stage 2, the design and proposal stage, we commit a lot of time to pre-design meetings in your home, walking the space together.
We then deliver a design rendering. This is a computer graphic with 3D, photorealistic detail, that allows you to see the room we will create for you. Quite honestly, our software and experience provide you a view more refined than any other company in Ohio. Clients tell us it’s like they’ve already been in the room; the vision was so clearly illustrated.
Next, you do a design review and revisions can, and should, be made before construction begins! Maybe you want to compare two rooflines, or two optional island orientations, even different layouts of the room. For an investment of this size, it’s ideal if you can visualize, so we do this with computer renderings.
Because all our remodeling is completely custom, reflecting your personality and lifestyle, every job results in a rendering. Luxury home renovation is not a catalog of templates. To us, it’s more than 25 years of understanding home design, hearing your needs and showing you solutions. This way you certainly know what you are getting – and it will meet all your needs!
Once you feel good about the use of the space in the rendering, you make material selections too. This is the visual guide to view paint color, countertops, lighting, flooring… even how morning and evening daylight will transform the room. You are selecting the actual material we will be installing. No surprises.
All of this keeps your budget in mind, and we will explain if choices are changing your budget needs so you can determine if you’d like to proceed with that selection.
The design review is complete with a construction agreement. Budgets are firm, promises are kept and communication is clear as we enter into the next stage.
